Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-on-1 and small-group virtual sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, SAT/ACT Prep)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives
- Monitor progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, quizzes) to enhance engagement
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student milestones
- Collaborate with academic team to refine tutoring methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of formal tutoring or teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core academic areas
- Valid US work authorization and reliable high-speed internet
- Patience, creativity, and proven ability to motivate struggling learners
- Background check clearance required
