Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize digital resources and multimedia tools to create dynamic learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and academic advisors regarding student performance
- Stay current with educational methodologies and subject matter advancements
- Maintain accurate session records and contribute to curriculum improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience (remote experience strongly preferred)
- Expertise in core K-12 subjects (math, science, ELA, or test prep)
- Proficiency with online tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.) and digital assessment tools
- Excellent communication skills with ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Valid teaching certification (Texas certification highly valued)
