Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small group virtual instruction in core academic subjects
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Utilize our digital platform to track progress and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Participate in ongoing training and curriculum enhancement initiatives
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
- Collaborate with academic team members to optimize learning outcomes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual classroom technologies (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least two core academic areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Valid Michigan teaching certification (or equivalent) required
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
