Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize digital tools (interactive whiteboards, LMS) for effective instruction
- Communicate progress to parents/guardians and academic advisors
- Collaborate with tutors on best practices and resource sharing
- Maintain accurate session records and student documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of tutoring/teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Expertise in core subjects: Math, Science, English, or History
- Proficiency with virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to learning styles
- Kansas state teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home workspace
