Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in Math, Science, English, or History
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Utilize our digital platform for interactive sessions, resource sharing, and assessments
- Collaborate with academic coordinators to address learning gaps
- Maintain accurate session records and communicate student updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field
- 1+ years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- North Carolina teaching certification or equivalent
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office space
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
