Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions across core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Texas state standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and growth areas
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards) for seamless instruction
- Collaborate with academic advisors to optimize student learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate session records and progress reports for administrative review
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Texas state teaching certification (or equivalent) with 2+ years classroom/tutoring experience
- Expertise in K-12 curriculum and standardized test preparation (SAT/ACT)
