Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions (K-12 and college levels)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents
- Utilize interactive digital tools (whiteboards, simulations, quizzes)
- Collaborate with academic coordinators on student improvement plans
- Participate in monthly professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate session logs and progress documentation
- Adapt teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years tutoring/teaching experience (online experience required)
- Illinois teaching certification or equivalent (if applicable)
- Expertise in at least 2 core subjects (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and digital literacy skills
- Ability to engage students through virtual platforms
- Background check and professional references required
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions (4-20 hrs/week)
