Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English, History)
- Develop personalized learning plans aligned with student goals and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents/clients
- Utilize interactive digital tools and multimedia resources to enhance learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and academic coordinators
- Participate in regular training sessions and curriculum updates
- Maintain accurate session logs and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or current enrollment)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience (K-12 focus preferred)
- Proficiency in virtual tutoring platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least 2 core academic areas
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, creativity, and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office setup
- Valid California teaching credential (preferred but not required)
