Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or our proprietary platform.
- Develop personalized lesson plans and study guides tailored to each student's learning style and academic goals.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and regular feedback sessions.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and feedback in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Communicate effectively with parents and students to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning paces and abilities.
- Stay updated on curriculum standards and educational best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject matter (or currently pursuing a degree in Education or the subject).
- Strong command of English grammar, pronunciation, and communication skills.
- Previous tutoring experience or teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Ability to use video conferencing software and digital whiteboards.
- Must be located in or willing to work from Mesa, Arizona.
- Passion for helping students succeed and a patient, encouraging demeanor.
