Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons in core subjects (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Assess student needs and create customized learning plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Provide constructive feedback and track progress using our proprietary tutoring platform
- Maintain detailed session notes and communicate progress with parents/guardians
- Stay current with educational methodologies and digital teaching tools
- Collaborate with academic team to address student learning gaps
- Participate in ongoing professional development sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proficiency in virtual teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong communication skills and ability to connect with diverse learners
- Valid Minnesota teaching license (or equivalent) highly desirable
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Background check clearance required
