Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions across K-12 subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with student learning objectives and curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress through regular assessments and provide detailed progress reports
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, proprietary LMS) for seamless instruction
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and academic advisors regarding performance
- Stay current with pedagogical best practices and educational technology trends
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience (virtual experience highly valued)
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core curriculum area (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learners
- Proficiency with digital learning tools and video conferencing platforms
- State teaching certification or equivalent tutoring credentials
