Responsibilities
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with NYS curriculum standards
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed performance feedback
- Utilize multimedia tools to create engaging, dynamic learning experiences
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student development
- Participate in ongoing professional development workshops
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or specialized subject area (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of formal teaching or tutoring experience
- NY State teaching certification or equivalent credentials
- Expertise in at least one NYS curriculum-aligned subject area
- Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
