Responsibilities
- Deliver 1-on-1 virtual tutoring sessions via our secure platform
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with NYC curriculum standards
- Track student progress using our learning management system
- Provide detailed progress reports to parents and schools
- Collaborate with academic team on best practices
- Prepare students for standardized tests (SAT/ACT/Regents)
- Maintain 95%+ student satisfaction rating
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Education or relevant field
- 2+ years tutoring experience with proven results
- Expertise in at least 2 subject areas (Math, Science, English, etc.)
- Familiarity with NYC DOE curriculum and Regents exams
- Exceptional communication and tech proficiency
- Ability to engage students in virtual environments
- Background check and teaching certification (NY preferred)
