Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions for K-12 and college students in Phoenix, AZ
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with Arizona academic standards and individual student needs
- Track student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital tools (Zoom, interactive whiteboards, learning platforms) to create dynamic lessons
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to enhance tutoring materials and methodologies
- Maintain accurate session logs and progress documentation
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in virtual settings
- Valid Arizona teaching certification or equivalent subject expertise
- Proficiency in digital tutoring tools and video conferencing platforms
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple students
- Background check and fingerprint clearance compliant with AZ requirements
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
