Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions in core subjects (Math, Science, English)
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student learning objectives
- Monitor student progress and provide detailed feedback to parents and academic advisors
- Utilize digital platforms (Zoom, interactive whiteboards, proprietary LMS) for seamless instruction
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to enhance tutoring materials and methodologies
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain pedagogical best practices
- Track attendance and session data using our student management system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- 1+ years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience with K-12 students
- Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
- Strong proficiency in digital communication and educational technology
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with students and families
- Oklahoma teaching certification or equivalent (may be waived for exceptional candidates)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet home office environment
