Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual lessons via our interactive platform
- Develop customized learning plans aligned with state standards
- Track student progress using our proprietary assessment tools
- Communicate effectively with parents and school partners
- Participate in ongoing curriculum development and training
- Maintain accurate student records and progress reports
- Collaborate with tutor community for best practices sharing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- VA state teaching certification or equivalent tutoring credentials
- 2+ years experience in K-12 instruction or tutoring
- Expert knowledge in at least 2 core subjects (Math, ELA, Science, History)
- Exceptional communication and virtual presentation skills
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home workspace
- Familiarity with online learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom)
