Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions across K-12 subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with NY curriculum standards
- Utilize interactive digital platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom) for seamless instruction
- Track student progress and provide detailed performance reports
- Communicate effectively with parents and school coordinators
- Adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Participate in ongoing tutor training and curriculum development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Proven expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, etc.)
- Strong digital literacy with video conferencing and educational tools
- NY State teaching certification or equivalent qualification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
