Responsibilities
- Conduct 1-on-1 and small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our secure video platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and student goals
- Track student progress through our digital dashboard and provide detailed progress reports
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student achievements and challenges
- Utilize interactive tools (digital whiteboards, simulations) to enhance engagement
- Collaborate with academic team to refine tutoring methodologies
- Maintain accurate session logs and student documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1+ years of formal tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, English, History)
- Proficiency with video conferencing tools and digital learning platforms
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles
- Reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
- Nebraska teaching certification preferred (not required)
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
