Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, one-on-one or small-group virtual tutoring sessions via our secure video platform.
- Develop and customize lesson plans that align with the student's curriculum and individual learning goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and academic coordinators.
- Utilize various digital tools and resources to create an interactive and productive learning environment.
- Maintain a professional, patient, and encouraging demeanor during all sessions.
- Collaborate with the educational team to adapt teaching strategies based on student performance data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Current teaching certification or prior tutoring experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace free from distractions.
- Proficiency in using technology, specifically video conferencing software (Zoom, Teams, etc.) and online learning management systems.
- Ability to be available during peak hours (evenings and weekends) as required by student demand.
