Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one and small group online tutoring sessions via our virtual platform
- Develop personalized lesson plans aligned with DC curriculum standards and student goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies using data-driven insights
- Communicate effectively with parents and students regarding academic milestones
- Utilize interactive digital tools to create engaging learning experiences
- Collaborate with curriculum specialists to refine tutoring methodologies
- Maintain accurate session records and progress documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably in virtual settings
- Expertise in at least one core subject (Math, Science, ELA, History)
- Proficiency with online learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse learners
- Valid teaching certification or tutoring credentials
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
