Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1-on-1 and small group virtual tutoring sessions via our interactive platform
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with state standards and student learning objectives
- Track student progress and provide detailed progress reports to parents
- Utilize digital tools to create interactive learning materials and assessments
- Maintain accurate session documentation and communication logs
- Collaborate with academic advisors to address student needs and learning gaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject area (or equivalent experience)
- Valid Kansas teaching certification preferred
- Proven experience in K-12 tutoring or classroom instruction
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt teaching styles
- Strong subject matter expertise in at least one core subject
- Background check and child safety certification required
