Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and convert them into accurate text documents.
- Proofread and edit transcribed documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
- Adhere to strict medical terminology and formatting guidelines.
- Manage file uploads and downloads securely within our cloud-based platform.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify ambiguous dictation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
- Previous experience in medical transcription (1+ years preferred).
- Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 50 WPM).
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription software.
