Responsibilities
- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe content into written text with high accuracy and speed.
- Proofread and edit transcriptions for grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors.
- Ensure strict adherence to client-specific formatting and style guidelines.
- Meet daily and weekly transcription quotas and deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient and client information.
- Use transcription software and tools efficiently to maximize productivity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in transcription (medical, legal, or general) is highly desirable.
- Excellent typing speed (min. 60 WPM) and accuracy rate (98%+).
- Strong command of the English language, including grammar and vocabulary.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home workspace.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
