Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical/legal audio recordings with 98.5%+ accuracy
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Manage transcription turnaround times within 24-48 hours
- Utilize digital tools (ExpressScribe, oTranscribe) for efficient workflow
- Format documents according to client specifications
- Proofread transcripts for grammar, spelling, and medical terminology
- Communicate proactively with quality assurance team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years professional transcription experience
- Proficiency in medical/legal terminology (specialty certification preferred)
- Minimum 85 WPM typing speed with 100% accuracy
- Excellent command of English grammar and punctuation
- High-speed internet connection and noise-free home office
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with digital transcription software
