Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain complex calendars for healthcare providers, scheduling appointments and procedures efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients to confirm appointments, address inquiries, and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly.
- Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information to ensure accurate billing and coverage.
- Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling software with the highest level of accuracy.
- Collaborate with front office staff and clinical teams to ensure seamless workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Handle high-volume phone calls and emails with professionalism and poise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a scheduling, administrative, or customer service role.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred.
