Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Lead migration projects on-premise to cloud environments while ensuring security and compliance
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts to enhance deployment efficiency
- Monitor system performance using tools like Datadog and New Relic, resolving incidents proactively
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural guidance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, resilient cloud solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS/GCP certification
- Expertise in Python, Go, or similar infrastructure-as-code languages
- Proven track record of designing multi-tier distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in remote settings
