Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Kubernetes architectures on AWS/GCP
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Terraform
- Optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining 99.99% uptime
- Lead incident response and SRE initiatives for critical services
- Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices
- Implement robust monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana stack
- Drive security compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001) across cloud environments
Qualifications
- 5+ years cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) and container orchestration
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong CI/CD pipeline design using GitLab CI or Jenkins
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Datadog)
- Security-first mindset with compliance background
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
