Role Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of user interfaces, collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive web applications. You will also mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions that ensure our products remain scalable and maintainable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React and modern web technologies.
- Translate wireframes and mockups into functional, pixel-perfect code with a focus on performance and accessibility (WCAG).
- Collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow between client and server.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Mentor junior developers, provide code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, including implementing performance monitoring and optimization strategies.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Front-End development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Expert-level experience with React.js and the React ecosystem (Redux, React Router, etc.).
- Familiarity with TypeScript is highly preferred.
- Experience with state management libraries and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON data formats.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues in a distributed environment.
