Your Mission
As a Night Shift Developer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our core platform. You will have the autonomy to make architectural decisions and the support you need to execute them flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Python).
- Maintain and optimize existing codebases during the quiet hours to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with the remote day-shift team via async documentation and scheduled stand-ups.
- Debug complex issues in production environments and implement long-term fixes.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on the night shift squad.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and a backend language (Node.js, Python, or Java).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Mandatory availability to work a night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM MST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for remote collaboration.
