Responsibilities
- Architect Hybrid Systems: Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms that optimize performance for next-generation AI models.
- R&D Leadership: Lead research initiatives to explore the intersection of quantum mechanics and machine learning, pushing the boundaries of what is possible by 2026.
- System Optimization: Oversee the integration of quantum processors into existing cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless scalability and low-latency operations.
- Prototyping: Build rapid prototypes of quantum co-processors to validate theoretical models before full-scale deployment.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists and hardware engineers to translate business needs into technical quantum solutions.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Maintain the highest standards of code quality and mentor junior engineers in quantum software development.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PyQuil) and classical machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Programming: Proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA programming with a focus on high-performance computing (HPC).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically focused on AI or quantum computing.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-layered technical challenges and derive innovative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
