Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum circuit models and hybrid quantum-classical algorithms.
- Lead the research and implementation of error correction protocols for near-term quantum processors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into legacy cloud infrastructures.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers in quantum software development best practices.
- Define technical roadmaps for quantum infrastructure upgrades leading up to 2026 deployment.
- Conduct rigorous performance benchmarking and optimization of quantum workloads.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum software development, or superconducting hardware.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit or Cirq.
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, Grover's) and noise mitigation techniques.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their quantum services.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
