Responsibilities
- Query & Data Management: Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
- Visualization: Create interactive, high-level dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present data to stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports that provide actionable insights to the executive team.
- Process Improvement: Identify data anomalies and areas for operational improvement, proposing data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management and engineering teams to define data requirements and support product roadmap decisions.
- Data Governance: Maintain data integrity standards and ensure compliance with internal security protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within a remote or distributed work environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation.
- Tools: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise business recommendations.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote setting.
