Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure remote IT infrastructure including VPNs, cloud services, and endpoint management systems
- Provide Tier 3 technical support to remote employees across multiple time zones via ticketing systems and live chat
- Develop comprehensive documentation for remote work protocols, security policies, and troubleshooting guides
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize remote productivity tools and collaboration platforms
- Conduct proactive security audits and implement zero-trust architecture for remote access
- Lead migration projects for transitioning office-based workflows to fully remote operations
- Mentor junior IT staff on remote work best practices and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in remote IT support and infrastructure management
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments and hybrid networking
- Industry certifications (CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CCNP) strongly preferred
- Proven experience implementing MFA, SSO, and endpoint protection solutions
- Exceptional written communication skills for documenting complex technical procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot issues across diverse operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and devices
- Experience managing remote teams across multiple states (MA/OH preferred)
