Responsibilities
- Design net-zero infrastructure systems integrating solar, wind, and geothermal technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing smart city frameworks for energy/water efficiency
- Utilize AI and IoT to optimize infrastructure performance and predictive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with LEED, BREEAM, and emerging 2026 sustainability standards
- Collaborate with municipal planners on climate-resilient urban development projects
- Develop lifecycle cost analyses for sustainable infrastructure investments
- Mentor junior architects in circular economy principles and green material science
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering or Architecture; Master's preferred
- 8+ years in sustainable infrastructure with 3+ years in smart city projects
- LEED AP/Well AP certification or equivalent sustainability credentials
- Expertise in BIM/CAD tools (Revit, Civil 3D) and energy modeling software
- Proven track record of scaling green infrastructure projects >$50M
- Deep knowledge of California Title 24 and emerging federal climate policies
- Exceptional stakeholder management for public-private partnerships
