- Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into accurate, verbatim text documents.
- Proofread and edit transcripts to ensure proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Adhere to strict formatting guidelines and medical coding standards.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity targets to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding complex audio or unclear dictation.
- Submit completed work securely through our online portal.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in medical terminology is a plus.
- Proven experience in medical transcription or general transcription.
- Exceptional listening skills with the ability to decipher various accents and audio quality levels.
- Fast and accurate typing speed (minimum 50 wpm).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe).
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
