Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Lead bias audits and fairness assessments for high-stakes AI systems (healthcare, autonomous systems, etc.)
- Design ethical risk mitigation protocols for generative AI and neural network deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to embed ethical considerations in AI development lifecycles
- Advocate for ethical AI practices through industry forums, policy consultations, and thought leadership
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging AI ethical challenges (sentience, quantum AI, etc.)
- Train engineering teams on ethical AI development practices and accountability measures
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in AI Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics governance or responsible tech development
- Expertise in bias detection methodologies and fairness metrics for neural networks
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional ethical AI initiatives in tech environments
- Published research in AI ethics or demonstrated thought leadership in responsible AI
- Proficiency in Python for ethical AI auditing tools and bias visualization
