Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026-focused technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Establish partnerships with academic labs and startups for early-stage tech adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with ROI tracking and risk mitigation
- Author thought leadership papers on future tech implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in scaling emerging technologies to market
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong background in product lifecycle management from concept to commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (TED, CES, Web Summit)
