- Meet daily production targets and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Utilize transcription software, foot pedals, and digital audio files efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding complex files or technical issues.
- Stay updated on industry terminology and formatting standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum typing speed of 50-60 WPM with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Previous experience in medical, legal, or general transcription is preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transcription tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
