Responsibilities
- Transcribe complex medical dictation from diverse specialties (cardiology, orthopedics, radiology) with 99% accuracy
- Format transcribed reports according to client specifications and AAMT guidelines
- Verify medical terminology, diagnoses, and procedures using reference materials
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all documentation
- Utilize digital transcription software and voice recognition technology
- Meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards
- Collaborate with quality assurance team for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of medical transcription experience in acute care or clinic settings
- Credential: CMT (Certified Medical Transcriptionist) or RHDS (Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist)
- Proficiency in EHR systems and digital transcription platforms (e.g., MModal, Dictaphone)
- Exceptional knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology
- Typing speed minimum 85 WPM with 100% accuracy
