Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during overnight shifts
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Conduct forensic analysis of network intrusions and malware activities
- Collaborate with global teams to implement zero-trust security architectures
- Document incident reports and recommend proactive security enhancements
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical systems
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with night shift or 24/7 operations
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST SP 800-61)
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for federal compliance
