Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for enterprise clients via phone, chat, and remote access during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM EST)
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software issues including server administration, cloud infrastructure, and network connectivity
- Document all support tickets, solutions, and system changes in our ITSM platform with meticulous detail
- Collaborate with global teams during handover periods to ensure continuity of support
- Proactively monitor system health and implement preventative maintenance during off-peak hours
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and training materials for internal and external use
- Escalate critical incidents to senior engineers with clear impact assessments and resolution timelines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise IT support with night shift or 24/7 environment exposure
- Expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for network issues, VPN connectivity, and endpoint security
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for documenting complex technical solutions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira
- Must have reliable high-speed internet and dedicated home office space
