Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 technical support for enterprise software systems via phone, chat, and remote access
- Monitor system alerts and proactively resolve infrastructure issues during overnight hours
- Document incident reports, resolutions, and knowledge base articles with precision
- Collaborate with global teams using ticketing systems like Jira and ServiceNow
- Conduct routine system maintenance and security checks during low-traffic periods
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with detailed context and troubleshooting steps
- Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) with 99.9% uptime targets
Qualifications
- 2+ years of IT support experience in 24/7 or shift-based environments
- Proficiency in Windows/Linux systems and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong network troubleshooting skills using tools like Wireshark and PingPlotter
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certification preferred
- Exceptional written communication for cross-team documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Datadog) and ticketing systems
- Must be available to work 11 PM - 7 AM MST, including weekends and holidays
