Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical hardware and software issues for internal staff and external clients.
- Manage and resolve incoming support tickets within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform nightly system backups, patch management, and security audits.
- Respond to urgent alerts regarding server health, network latency, and database integrity.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to document issues and ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
- Maintain accurate records of all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Conduct onboarding and training for new employees during the night shift hours.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, Help Desk, or Technical Support roles.
- Proven ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow) is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for remote and phone support.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex connectivity and hardware issues independently.
- Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
