Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient assistance during overnight hours, including mobility support and medication reminders
- Monitor patient vitals and report critical changes to nursing staff promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and care activities
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Assist with patient admission/discharge procedures during night shift
- Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA or medical assistant certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in healthcare support or patient care role
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night shifts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed
- Valid Nevada driver's license (if transporting patients)
