Responsibilities
- Design hybrid quantum-classical machine learning models for exponential computational advantages
- Develop novel error-correction techniques for quantum neural networks
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives with quantum hardware engineers
- Publish breakthrough findings in Nature/Science journals and top-tier conferences
- Translate theoretical frameworks into scalable production-grade AI systems
- Mentor PhD fellows and patent quantum-AI methodologies
- Collaborate with DARPA and NSF on quantum-AI national security applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical CS, or Physics (or equivalent industry breakthrough)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms (QML, VQE, QAOA)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, QIP)
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters (HPC) and GPU acceleration
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into industry applications
