Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for hardware, software, and network systems during night shift hours
- Monitor and respond to security alerts, malware incidents, and system vulnerabilities
- Document all troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and knowledge base contributions
- Collaborate with global teams during handover periods for continuity of service
- Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across cloud infrastructure
- Conduct periodic system maintenance and patch deployments during off-peak hours
- Maintain compliance with SOC 2 and HIPAA security protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT support experience with night shift or 24/7 environment exposure
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and enterprise networking
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification required
- Proficiency with remote desktop tools (TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc.) and ticketing systems
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex technical issues independently
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Excellent written communication for documenting technical procedures
- Must reside in Illinois timezone (CT) for shift coverage
