Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts during night shift hours (12 AM - 8 AM EST)
- Conduct forensic analysis of cybersecurity incidents and implement mitigation protocols
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for enterprise security systems (SIEM, EDR, firewalls)
- Document incident reports and maintain detailed case documentation in JIRA
- Collaborate with onshore/offshore teams during critical security events
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and patch management for assigned systems
- Participate in monthly security drills and training exercises
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT technical support
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification (CISSP preferred)
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong analytical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex security incidents
- Excellent written communication for documentation and reporting
- Availability to work consistent night shift schedule (12 AM - 8 AM EST)
- Experience with Windows/Linux system administration
- BS in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
