Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles, including full-stack developers, data scientists, and cloud engineers.
- Utilize various sourcing strategies (LinkedIn, Boolean searches, networking) to identify passive candidates in the Houston tech market.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate skills and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate data entry and reporting.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and talent benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical recruiting or human resources, preferably within the IT sector.
- Strong understanding of the Houston, TX job market and local tech ecosystem.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Workday.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote, part-time capacity.
- Flexibility to work occasional evening hours for cross-timezone coordination.
