Responsibilities
- Architect and develop cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through virtual pair programming
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies in Jira
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to open-source projects aligned with our automotive tech focus
- Document technical specifications and API documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software development with Python/Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices patterns
- Proven experience leading remote development teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
- Detroit metro area residency preferred (not required)
