Responsibilities
- Execute full-cycle technical recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates for engineering and IT roles.
- Utilize advanced Boolean search strategies and professional networks (LinkedIn, GitHub) to identify passive candidates in the Chicago market and beyond.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and build long-term talent pipelines.
- Manage and update candidate data within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct effective phone screens and coordinate technical interviews with internal stakeholders.
- Negotiate offers and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
- Stay current on industry trends and recruitment best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably within the SaaS, IT, or Engineering sectors.
- Proven success in managing a full-cycle recruiting process and hitting quarterly hiring targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, consultative demeanor.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting without micromanagement.
- Strong understanding of the Chicago tech landscape is highly preferred.
